The Bright and Blue Royals

If you didn't know yet the baseball post season is well started and there is no other team that stands out more than the Kansas City Royals. They have been playing their hearts out every game. They have been playing great defensively and offensively every game and I don't think they are stopping any time soon. One of the great offensive players that have been hitting the ball really well is Lorenzo Cain. He has been hitting the ball into every part into the feild from either bunting or hitting a home run. These Royals are unstoppable and if they keep on playing the way they are I think they are going to make it the the World Series, possibly even win the World Series. Kansas City Royals have shown how good they are and they are not planning to stop.

The Fighting Phils

The baseball season had come to end for the Phladelphia Phillies about two weeks ago. The Phillies season was ok. I think. They made a lot of moves in he the offseason. For example, they got A.J Burnett and Marlon Byrd. They made an impact when they came here to play for the Phillies. Ben Revere was hot most of the time in the season who mostley carried the team to the final game. I think if they just work together as a team we can be a playoff team. I just think that last year from all the moves they made, and Ryne Sandberg's first full season with them, made them be all over the place. I think next year they will be better.

The Orange Flyers

 The Flyers had there 1st season game on Wensday October 8 and they versed the Boston Bruins. It was a close game coming down towards the end of the game. The Bruins were leading the game in the 1st and 2nd period with the score of 1-0. But in the 3rd period the Flyers finally scored, their first goal in the season. The goal was made by Sean Couture. The goal was a deflection, the actual shot was made by Brayden Schenn. The two goals made by Reilly Smith and the other was made by Chris Kelly. Like I said before it was a close game and a good game to watch and a good game to be there ex specially.

The Flying Birds

We are now into the 6th week of football and the Philadelphia Eagles are looking great. At least defensively and special teams are doing great. The Eagles record is 4-1 and the win is mostly from all the defense and special teams. Their defense has the most points so far in the NFL. I am not saying the Eagles offense is bad but it is not has good has their defense is playing as of now. Chip Kelly's I think has something to do with this not that I am saying our old coach Andy Reid was a bad coach, it is just that ever since Chip Kelly came to be are head coach a lot of things change from the two year that he has been here. To sum up, the Philadelphia Eagles this year are a really good football team.

Purple rain

If you watch football, especially the Baltimore Ravens you have seen they have not been doing that good. They have not been doing so great is because of their defense. For example, Parnell McPhee don't get me wrong he is a great player and everything it's just that he has only 1 sack in the 5 weeks that they haved played. Usually he should have 2 or 3 sacks by now but he doesn't. Another player who is good but has been doing great is Chris Canty. Even though now he is injured but before he has been letting all the offensive line player get by him and sack the quarter back. Defense is no there only problem why they are losing. Another reason is that the head coach John Harbaugh is getting a little bit to aggressive on fourth down conversions and even worse the don't get it. Anyway the reason why I have my title called the, Purple Rain is because of Edgar Allan Poe's poem the Raven.
